We are pleased to introduce the new Whitestone Cheese Fresh Food Show, part of the Great Kiwi Home & Living Show 2018.
An exciting collaboration between the Otago Daily Times’ Fresh food pages and partners from the New Zealand Chefs Association, Otago Polytechnic, Compass Group, Vault 21, and Whitestone Cheese, the expanded food and beverage area will have many new and innovative elements for 2018.
As well as showcasing our unique food industry and offering delicious food and drink to enjoy, you can look forward to cooking competitions and interactive demonstrations. We are also happy to announce that celebrity chefs Simon Gault, Brett McGregor and Annabel Langbein will be at this year’s show.
Stall holders in the food hub include Vault 21, Emersons, Gilberts Fine Foods, Otago Polytechnic, Restaurant Associates and Whitestone Cheese.

- Gilbert’s Fine Food “Great Kiwi Southern Cake-off“ – open to the general public we want to find the best chocolate cake in the South.
- Otago Polytechnic “Farm to Fork” competition – four top local chefs go head to head in a live cooking challenge
- Gilbert’s Fine Food “Kids Icing Competition” – who can create the most creative icing on the cake?
